Who else is inspired by this crisp whether to pull out the craft supplies and decorate?? I love fall-themed crafts and I’m hoping to do several new ones with my girls, this year. We’ll pull out our Stained-Glass Leaves from a couple of years ago to hang in all the windows (if I can find them… maybe their in the storage unit??…) and then we’ll try some of these fun ideas from other blogs!
Debra at Sweet Kisses and Dirty Dishes is my hero when it comes to creative wall art! See that Thanksgiving definition plaque in the picture? That’s her creation and I l.o.v.e. it! 🙂 She also has some adorable little Fabric Pumpkins in a guest post over at Homemaker’s Challenge.
I saw this idea for the first time last year, but we were getting ready to move from Ohio to South Dakota and it just wasn’t going to happen. This year, we’ll be making a Thankful Tree, like the one at Simply Rebekah. I can’t wait to see what ends up on it!
We have a TON of pine-cones on our property, so this pine-cone garland over at Diary of a First Child will be a good one to start with! She also has a very cute school craft I can do with my eldest and an autumn-themed sensory box I can put together for my youngest- perfect!
I’m going to need to find that box in storage, because it also has my fabric scraps. I’d love to make an autumn wreath like this one over at A Proverbs 31 Wife! Kendra also has a two-part series on fall decorating on a budget with some cute and frugal projects! Check them out, here: part one and part two.
If you’re wanting some ideas on being “green” by using some resourceful table decorations (or even just on saving money!), Emily at Live Renewed has some good tips to get your creativity sparked!
