Fruit with Chocolate Dipping Sauce

Doesn’t that look scrumptious?? This dairy-free chocolate sauce is decadent and easy to make.

What You’ll Need

  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar (I use organic dehydrated cane juice)
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons coconut cream concentrate- this is what makes it thick and creamy!
  • Fruit: strawberries, cherries, bananas, pineapple, etc.

What To Do

  1. Add all the ingredients to a small sauce pan and turn the heat on low.
  2. Whisk until well-blended and smooth.
  3. Serve drizzled over fruit or on a small bowl for dipping. Enjoy!

    • We do, too! If you dip the strawberries and then chill them in the fridge, the coconut oil from the coconut cream will harden up the chocolate some, too. 🙂

  1. Oh, that does look delicious!!!!! We make it with raw honey, but have never added the coconut cream! I will have to do it and it will probably make it thicker 🙂 The better to lick it out of the bowl! Haha!! Thanks for linking-up…keep sharing these great posts and wonderful pics! Love your blog 🙂

    • I’m planning to test it out with honey (for a GAPS-friendsly version) and also with maple syrup, because I just *love* chocolate and maple syrup together! 😉 Thanks so much for hosting the link-up! I look forward to it every week. 🙂
