Lilla Rose Review, Giveaway and Party!

For years, I’ve pretty much done one of two things with my hair. One is a simple ponytail. The other is putting it up in one of those ugly plastic claw clips. Pretty uninspiring, I know. The reason is that I hate having my hair in my face, so from the time I get up in the morning until the time I’m done getting ready for bed at night, my hair is almost always pulled back. The worst part (besides not being very pretty and feminine) is that I have to really get the ponytail or claw tight to keep my straight, smooth hair from sliding right out. That gives me a killer headache and even then I still have to redo my hair several times a day. Not fun.

Then I heard about the Flexi Clip a few months ago. It was just little things, here and there, about how great it was. I toyed with the idea of ordering one, but I had been so disappointed by all the other hair accessories that I have tried over the years that I put it off. Then Paula Miller, an independent Lilla Rose Consultant, offered to send me one to try. I admit, I was skeptical. Would the Flexi Clip really deliver on it’s promise to stay in place without causing me a headache? It absolutely did!

The photo above is me with a small Flexi Clip (“Etched Tiger Lily”) in my own messy twist. ;-) It took me about 15 seconds to “do” my hair for this photo. My hubby snapped the picture before he left for work and my hair still looked just like this when he got home. I don’t use any kind of styling products, the Flexi is just that amazing! And, it’s true, I can’t even feel it! There is no pulling or headaches, which is such a relief. Yep, I’m in love! ;-)

Here’s Pumpkin with the mini-sized “Soaring Butterfly”, which she loves. I couldn’t have a Flexi Clip for myself and not her, so I ordered her one when Paula sent mine. It works just as well in her baby-fine hair and she looks like such a little lady with it in her hair!

I was so surprised when our Flexi Clips arrived, because they are such high quality. There aren’t any sharp edges or cheap parts, they really are “jewelry-quality” and I believe that they will last for many years. I’m planning to get several other sizes (to be able to do different hairstyles) and even try some of the other products, such as the O-Rings, Hair Sticks, Bobby Pins, Hair Bands and, especially, the You-Pins! Fun!! Here are some other ladies with Lilla Rose products.

So, are you convinced to give Lilla Rose a try? Good!

It’s A Party!

This is a Lilla Rose party! Here’s how it works. You’ve read my review, so now I’d like to invite you to enter a giveaway (courtesy of Paula Miller- thanks, Paula!) for any product up to $16 value! You can enter by Rafflecopter, at the bottom of the page. The only required entry is to check out the products and leave a comment, but there are other optional entries.

If you’ve never used Rafflecopter, don’t be intimidated (like I was when I first saw it!). You just look at the options and click on one, such as “leave a comment”. You leave a comment, then click the green rectangle that says, “Enter”.  Easy-peasy, right? The winner will be announced this weekend.

Free Shipping!

I’d also like to announce that during this party (today through midnight on the 31st of August), any order over $20 gets free shipping! You can enter the giveaway and then order, or go ahead and order now. If you decide to wait and see if you’ve won, you’ll still have all of next week to place an order and take advantage of the free shipping.

Whenever you’re ready to order, there are a few ways to figure out what size you’ll need to choose.

  • Put your hand around your full ponytail and squeeze down. If the amount you’re holding resembles a nickel, you’re an extra small. A quarter, you’re a small. A 50 cent piece, you’re a medium, and anything bigger you’ll need large or extra large. This would be for a ponytail or tails-up. A half-up would be a size smaller, and a french twist would be a size larger.
  • Or, you can watch this video for a visual guide to size selection.

Order Now!

If you’re ready to order some of these fabulous products, this is the link to use. What you’re going to do is click on the link, then register by filling in the information in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Click “Register” and get started on your shopping! If you have any questions or need help with anything, please feel free to comment here, on my Facebook page or on Paula’s Facebook page. We’d be glad to help!
