My Etsy Store: Grand Opening and Giveaway!

Finally! In celebration of reaching 1,000 Facebook “likes” and passing my one-year mark as a blogger, we are launching our Etsy store. We would like to thank you, dear readers, by cordially inviting you to come browse our store and enter to win a $30 credit to our store!

Before I start gushing about how wonderful this will be for your Christmas shopping list (hint, hint!!!), I’d like to point out one little detail. The name of my Etsy store is “CreativeChristianMom” not “CreativeChristianMama”. Etsy has limited store names to one less character than I needed, so I switched from “mama” to “mom”. I hope that doesn’t cause mass hysteria and confusion, but it was the best I could do. ;-)

Now, on to the fun part! What do we have at our Etsy store? First off, we have some adorable girls’ apron and headband sets! If you’ve been around here awhile, you’ve probably seen tons of pictures of my four-year-old, Pumpkin, helping in the kitchen in one of her cute little aprons made by her Gran. For example, here, here and here she is looking so precious and keeping her clothes clean with these fabulous aprons. She wears them all the time and she loves dressing the part of “mama’s little helper”. She was kind enough to model all of the apron and headband sets for sale at our Etsy store, too!

We decided to add the coordinating headbands because we wanted to provide a way to keep the hair clean… and because it’s just so much fun to coordinate! These aprons are gathered at the waist for a feminine flair and the tie is fully adjustable so that the apron can grow with your girl (see second photo). There are also useful  pockets for storing little treasures!

We also have some ceramic tile coasters that have been decoupaged and stamped! My parents made us a set like these for Christmas years ago and we love them so much that we decided to make them to sell. Our set is still used every day and is just as beautiful as when we got them. Each set has four coasters, which are completely lined on the bottom with cork to protect your tables. The tops are coated with decoupage glue and sprayed with several coats of waterproof acrylic sealant to keep them looking beautiful.

Soon I will be adding some of my own nature photos available as prints or even on canvas! There are some fun wall decorations in the making and I might even branch out into other areas. Can you tell I’m having a blast with this?! :-)
