After our first daughter was born I had the inexplicable urge to grow my own tomatoes, herbs and veggies. We built several raised beds and filled them full of seedlings. Guess what. I love gardening! There is something so peaceful and rejuvenating about it. There is a sense of accomplishment when you serve food grown in your own garden. Teaching our girls about how God made the plants and why the bees like the blossoms- those are some of my favorite summer memories with our eldest!
