I haven’t “arrived” in the land of flourishing, but I have come so far this last year. If you feel like you’re just surviving your way through your life, I’d love to encourage you by sharing what I’ve learned, changed and planned to get out of survival mode and into a more meaningful, intentional and peaceful way of living.
Although it may seem like it at times, I haven’t always lived in survival mode. My life used to be very well balanced between active and restful, social time and alone time, work and fun… it just didn’t seem that hard to say to myself, “Hey, I’ve been out and about a lot this week. Before we start rebuilding our health, we first need to get rid of all of the nasty stuff in our bodies that prevents our systems from functioning well. Removing that junk is called “detoxifying”, or “detox” for short. This will be our (mine and my husband’s) first step in our long-term journey to better health, which is now called the Renew Your Health Challenge. We hope that many of you will join us in some, or all, of our steps! Your game-plan and tools may be different than ours, but we can still encourage and learn from each other. 🙂
