Week Two of T-Tapp Exercise

For you ladies who are new around here, I’d like to offer a brief explanation of what this post is all about. Nine weeks ago, I had my second baby. It was a beautiful home birth and I was healthy during pregnancy except for some very bad morning sickness and anemia. Due to both of those conditions causing some pretty bad fatigue, I wasn’t very active and I didn’t exercise much apart from a few stretches and slow muscle toning movements.

At seven weeks post-partum, I decided it was time to get back in shape, so I started an exercise program called T-Tapp. It is NO impact and takes less than twenty minutes a day for the first week. After that, it is only done every other day for two to three weeks, then every third day for two to three weeks. Once I reach my desired clothing size, I can maintain it by doing the workout just once or twice a week!

Theresa Tapp, the creator of T-Tapp, claims that a person can lose 2 clothing sizes in 4 weeks. Pretty unbelievable, isn’t it? Well, I’ve been doing this for two weeks. Check out my progress so far. (The numbers in bold are my total inch loss in the last two weeks).

Right arm: 11 inches

Left arm: 11 inches

Bust: 35 inches

Ribs: 29 1/2 inches (lost 1/2 inch)

Waist: 28 inches (lost 1 inch)

Tummy: 34 inches (lost 1 inch)

Hips: 39 inches (lost 1 inch)

Upper right thigh: 22 inches (lost 1 inch)

Upper left thigh: 22 1/2 inches (lost 1/2 inch)

Lower right thigh: 16 inches

Lower left thigh: 16 inches

Right calf: 14 inches

Left calf: 14 inches

Weight: 146 pounds (2 pounds)

Energy level: 6 (Babykins has been having some pretty rough nights, so I’m a bit wiped out.)

So, in just two weeks, I’ve lost one entire clothing size from my waist, tummy, hips and upper thighs! Notice that my weight has hardly changed at all. That is because muscle weighs more than fat, but it takes up much less space. I’ve gained muscle, lost fat and lost inches! If I were getting more sleep, I’m sure my energy would be quite a bit higher, too.

As I mentioned in last week’s update, I am not dieting. In fact, we made tons of cookies right after I began T-Tapping and I have been indulging quite a bit! I also consume plenty of good fats through full-fat raw milk, butter from grass-fed cows, coconut oil and pastured meats and poultry. If I wanted to lose fat more quickly, I could cut out sugar… but I’m okay with a clothing size in two weeks! :-)
